Seaming A Flat Knit Headband
Mary Beth TempleTake any knitted rectangle and sew this twisted seam to get that retro, knot in a spa towel feel! Sew this twisted seam by holding the right sides of the work facing each other, forming the short side in your left hand into a C shape, forming the short side in your right hand into a reversed C shape, and putting them together so they interlock. Sew the twisted seam with a whip stitch through all layers and turn right side out – that is all there is to it! This headband was made in seed stitch – for a different style of textured headband try the Knitted Twist Headband pattern.
